Day 34- May 8, 2015 Quinoa cakes with roasted garlic and lemon aioli 

Happy Friday! Starting next week I am back to normal with five recipes. Today we made quinoa cakes. They were fairly simple but the aioli wasn’t as easy. If you don’t know how to correctly roast garlic, go ahead and google that before you start cooking anything. Also, start cooking about 30min earlier than the time you want to eat. The cakes were good. In my personal opinion the crunchier the better! The ones that weren’t as crunchy didn’t taste quite as amazing as the really crunchy ones. I paired it with pork chops but you could really put any meat with this side dish. Or you could eat it as your entree, it’s quite filling on its own. The aioli wasn’t what I expected though. I thought the flavor would be very garlicky, it was not. Good luck and try it!
